TOBYSDEN SHOW NEWS

BENGAL CAT CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN (TICA) MARCH MAD CATTER,S BALL - 8/3/08

This was a truly mad day for us as all three of our cats (Harley, Hully and Boo Boo)  finalled and gained their first TICA titles.  It was such a fun day so have done a separate page with all the news and photos.

COVENTRY AND LEICESTER CC 23/2/08

This was just one of those amazing days you normally only dream about!!  Harley, Balou and Rosie Posie all had red card days.  Harley and Balou were both Best of Breed and Balou also won his first Grand Challenge Certificate.  Rosie Posie won her Ultimate Mastercat class and proudly collected her Mastercat certificate and medal for achieving the title in 2007.  She was also the overall Royal Canin heat winner.  Not to be outdone by his sister, Toby also won his UMC class - he also won this in 2007 so has now achieved the title held by only two other cats of "Ultimate Mastercat".

SHROPSHIRE CC - 2/2/08

Harley (Starwinds Noir Diamond) really excelled himself this time - after winning Best of Breed and Best Foreign Kitten he went on to be Best of Variety Foreign Exhibit.  He amused himself during the final Best in Show judging by "killing" a piece of plastic tie wrap he found under his cushion - he did not win BIS but at least he made the audience laugh!!

SHORT HAIRED CAT SOCIETY - 5/1/08

We had a great start to the year with darling Harley (Starwinds Noir Diamond) winning Best of Breed and going on to be Best in Show Foreign Kitten.  He also won 4 miscellaneous classes.  Tobysden Fantasia and Tobysden Balou also did well winning their Opens and several other classes.

NATIONAL CC - 8/12/07

Tobysden Balou with fur growing back nicely fully made up for missing his class at the Supreme by winning his 3rd Premier Certificate and Best of Breed.  He is the second Tobysden GCCF premier having just been beaten to it by brother Hully at the Supreme!  Congratulations to Richard and Alex.

SUPREME 2007- 17/11/07

Congratulations to Tobysden Hullaballoo and Tobysden Affectionate Anya who both won their classes.  Hully won his third premier certificate to become the first Tobysden GCCF premier.

Congratulations also to Tobysden Balou and his dad Richard Crutchley who won the judges choice class in the decorated pen competition with a very impressive impersonation of Top Cat.  This was a great consolation to us as Balou could not compete against his brother Hully due to breaking his leg 5 weeks ago and still having rather a shaved leg!

Our sweet little T. Chiquitita did well to be 2nd and dear old Toby put on his usual impeccable performance to be 3rd in a strong class of top tabby household pets.  Many congratulations to his old rival Charlie Symonds who won the class and went on to be Supreme Household Pet

OCICAT & BENGAL CC - 27/10/07

Sabu had one of his best days winning his first Grand, Best of Breed and a red card day in all his other classes.  Tobysden Fantasia had an excellent show debut with 2nd in a strong Open class and top 3 placings in 3 other classes. She is a beautiful golden girl who takes after her dad.

Tobysden Passionflower was awarded her 3rd Challenge Certificate and to our great joy becomes the first Tobysden GCCF Champion - she will now have a break from showing and go back to live with Excalibur who she loves and hopefully in time will give us some more kittens.

CHESTER AND N WALES CC - 11/8/07

Congratulations to Tobysden Vrechvaeidelweiss - Best of Breed Snow Spotted kitten and 1st in AV Foreign Non-Breeders kitten. Heidi is a beautiful daughter of Sabu and Daisymae who now lives with Peter and Carol Smart and the Vrechva Bengals in Yorkshire.

Congratulations also to Balou who won his Open class and 2nd Premier Certificate

BENGAL CC - 28/7/07

We had an excellent day - Tobysden Chiquitita won her Open class as did Tobysden Balou and Tobysden Daisymae. Tobysden Affectionate Anya was 2nd in her Open Class. Daisymae was also BOB and Tobysden Balou had a red card day and won his 1st Premier Certificate. Chiquitita won a large class for debutante female kitten.

COVENTRY AND lEICESTER CC SHOW - 26/2/05

Leopardlily did very well to be 2nd in large Open class of Brown Spotted kittens.

SHROPSHIRE CC SHOW - 5/2/05

Tobysden Leopardlily made her show debut and did well to be 2nd in her Open Class and win a large class for Debutante Foreign Kitten.

CENTRAL LONGHAIRED CC SHOW - 22/1/05

Not to be outdone by her brother two weeks earlier Rosie Posie had one of her outstanding shows winning all six of her classes in the non-pedigree section. She may be a trifle portly these days but she so enjoys meeting people and knows exactly how to win the judges over!

Maisie was on exhibition and really enjoyed showing off to the visitors many of whom had not seen a snow Bengal before. .

SHORT HAIRED CS SHOW - 8/1/05

Toby the Tabby outshone all the Bengals and had a red card day winning all 5 of his classes in the non-pedigree section - nearly 8 years old now he still gives the youngsters a run for their money!

Annera Excalibur and Tobysden Evita both made their show debut and behaved well. Excalibur did well to be 2nd in a strong Open Class of 5 boys. Evita was 3rd in her Open and did well to be 3rd in two other large classes including the Bengal CC of GB Kitten class.

NATIONAL CC SHOW - 4/12/04

Tobysden Phantom (Casper to his friends) behaved beautifully at only his second show to win Best of Breed Snow Spotted Bengal Kitten. He was also placed in three miscellaneous and club classes. He has now gone off to Scotland to join Stargazer with Rosemary and Brian. We miss him a lot as he is an extremely loveable fat lump of a kitten, weighing 11lbs at 6 months, you certainly knew about it when he curled up on your lap!

Tobysden Stargazer

Tobysden Stargazer aka "Basil" - a true showboy and wonderful pet

Basil has won 7 intermediate certificates - most recently at Durham CC Show on 27/5/06 where he was also awarded Best of Breed. Congratulations to his owner Rosemary Lenette for showing Basil so well and many thanks also to her and husband Brian for giving him such a wonderfully loving home.
