Our Three Supreme 2012 Winners

KIABINDHI SULTAN OF SWING - TOBYSDEN ARCTICSTAR - TOBYDEN TALLULAHBELLE

We had a lovely day at the Supreme - Sultan won his class and First CC at just 9 months 1 day old. Star won his class and his first Grand CC. Little Tallulahbelle won her class too and was 3rd in the Kitten Fun Class which had a huge entry. The young ones ,all at their first Supreme,  outshone BooBoo and Fanny who were 3rd and 2nd in their UK Grand Classes. They all behaved so well and enjoyed being admired by visitors and relaxing in their decorated pens. The photo of Arcticstar (centre) is by kind permission of Robert Fox.

MORE KITTEN NEWS

We have no kittens ready at the moment. Please contact me if you would like to go on our waiting list for a kitten in 2012.

Bubbles was mated (23/11/11) with Harley and her kittens arrived on time on 26th January - see above.  These kittens could be brown or blue-eyed snow spotted and with these parents they should be really beautifully marked and super-friendly.

Pandora and Lola have both been mated by Sultan (3-6/1/2012) - his first girlfriends! They have both pinked up on time and are suspected to be pregnant with their kittens due in early March. Pandora is already looking plump!  She has had one and two kittens in her two previous litters so hoping she will double up again and have four this time!  It will be Lola's first litter.  We expect brown and blue-eyed snow spotted kittens from both these matings

I have been breeding pedigree Bengals in North Shropshire for over ten years.  I aim to produce kittens of the highest quality who are healthy, happy and love human company.  All my kittens are reared indoors with lots of love and affection.  All are GCCF registered and can be TICA registered if required.  I show my cats regularly and am dedicated to improving the breed.  We are members of the Bengal Cat Club, the Ocicat and Bengal Cat Club and the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain.

We occasionally have friendly well socialised kittens and retired adult breeding cats available to loving permanent homes.

We are a FIV/FeLV and PKDef*negative household and all our breeding cats are now screened regularly (ie at least once/year) for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

*All our breeding cats have recently been DNA tested for (June 2011) Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency, a hereditary disease characterised by chronic anaemia.  All the cats tested negative.

Our kittens love children who handle them gently.

Supreme Imperial Grand Master Cat Toby The Tabby (UMC)- RIP

Supreme Non-Pedigree Exhibit - GCCF Supreme Cat show 2009

Toby was my beloved non-pedigree tabby who was quite simply the best!!

Sadly we lost Toby to chronic renal failure in January 2012 aged 14 years and 11 months. I miss him very much - he was my favourite cat of all and life without him takes some getting used to as he was born in our kitchen and has always been the most loyal and loving companion to me and devoted Uncle to generations of Tobysden kittens. Ironically we still have his mum, Elsa, a rescued semi-feral girl, who is still fit and well  at 16 years and has outlived most of her 8 kittens. Elsa is a beautiful semi-longhair golden tabby but we never took her to a show as unlike her dear Toby she would have eaten judges for breakfast!!

The Art of Animals - official photographer to the GCCF Supreme Cat show 2009

We had a lovely afternoon when Karen Parker of the Art of Animals visited us to take photogaphs of Toby following his win at the Supreme Cat Show.  All our Bengals wanted to meet Karen and she ended up taking photos of most of them - this lovely picture is of Tobysden Pandora.

Many thanks Karen!
